I’ve been meaning to post some great speeches by American politicians that prove they can be a lot better than what we see today.
Considering the horrible news out of Brussels, I turned to this speech by Robert F. Kennedy.
For my money it rests just below “I have a Dream” and “The Gettysburg Address” as the greatest speech in American history.
Kennedy, whose own brother was struck down by an assassin’s bullet, gave the speech the day after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.
