The books sit on a shelf in our closet. At the beginning of last year, there were 68 of them. Now there are 94. The problem is I buy books faster than I read them. It’s been exacerbated by the fact that I used to read 40-50 books a year and now I’m down to 20 books.
I regularly set a goal. “No more books until I read five.” “No more books until I get the pile down into the 70s.”
Anyway, I’m curious how many people have the same problem. Do you have a pile of unread books. What do you do with them? How big is your pile?
And, are you like me in that you think, “This is the hour glass of my life. If I ever get this down to zero, I’ll die within the week.”
