Last year wasn’t the best for me for several reasons, but mostly because I lost my mother.
I have a lot of hope for this year. There’s one semester left between me and a Master’s Degree in Education. I still can’t believe Molly has given me the opportunity to do this. She let us take quite an incredible risk. First, she supported me as I left a field I loved and still love. Second, she was willing to share a huge financial burden. Third, she’s been incredibly helpful, reading all of my papers and giving me fantastic feedback.
She was my rock throughout all of 2018.
This semester probably won’t include as many papers. I’m going to spend a vast majority of my time student teaching. Thankfully, my college has already required I spend a ton of time in classrooms and I’ve subbed in three local districts several times. I feel pretty comfortable moving forward.
